In the HP TouchPad specifications sheet PDF available at the HP web site on the Entertainment and Multimedia section you can clearly read:

Music: Sync your PC´s music with your TouchPad using HP Play. Access millions of songs and through the Amazopn MP3 store (22) and the footnote : HP Play requires download to your PC at http://hpplay.com. Song files supported: DRM-Free MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, AMR, QCELP, and WAV.

We hope other webOS devices, will sync all your music with HP Play, as well.
