Hot on the heels of a fresh iPhone rumor claiming that the next-generation handset will look similar to the iPhone 4, a photo has surfaced that may offer a glimpse at the forthcoming device.
The photo appears in a listing for a "crystal case for apple iPhone 5g," found at an online Apple accessory store based in China.
From the photo, the device inside the case looks like an iPhone 4 with a larger, edge-to-edge display. The backside of the case shows off a new location for the camera flash.
While the flash is positioned quite close to the camera lens on the iPhone 4, the lens and the flash appear on opposites of the '5G' crystal case.
9 to 5 Mac has obtained separate but related photos of new camera parts that Apple might have purchased for the next iPhone. These photos also suggest a relocated camera flash. (Visit 9 to 5 Mac to see the raw camera parts.)
Previous rumors suggest that the next iPhone will house beefier internal components but will feature only "minor cosmetic changes" instead of a drastic redesign.
